The Model 2800 Incubator , part of the “ High Performance ” series, is the ideal instrument for the biological laboratory, bacteriology, serology, microbiological cultures, diagnostic and food testing, medical research, water analysis, quality control, HCCP, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, as well as many other applications.
Designed, engineered and produced by Galli, the 2800 High Performance Incubator offers different sizes to meet the different needs of laboratories, from the small 27-liter thermostat to the largest 1020-liter thermostat. It is also made on request with special sizes.
The Galli 2800 High Performance Incubator is offered with both Natural Air Circulation and Forced Ventilation; depending on the use, it is therefore possible to choose the desired type of heating to house the laboratory glassware or disposable plastic containers used.
The Advanced Galli System temperature control of the 2800 Incubator is able to keep the set temperature under strict control, starting from +3.0°C/+5.0°C above the ambient temperature and can be set up to +99.9°C. This ensures that your petri dish, test tube, slide, flask, flask, flask, bottle, container, bag, … and any other object inserted, is gently thermostated, incubated at the desired temperature.

Designed, engineered and produced in Italy by the Fratelli Galli company, the GCell Laboratory Incubator can have different capacities: from the small thermostat with a volume of 15 litres to the largest thermostat of 205 litres. Furthermore, these laboratory instruments are also made upon specific request, with special sizes, for chemical analysis laboratories that require specific laboratory equipment.
The GCell Model Laboratory Incubator is equipped with a Natural Air Circulation system, or is proposed with a Forced Ventilation system. Temperature of an Incubator
Incubators are often used for the incubation of cultures that live and develop at +37.0°C . Galli offers laboratory incubators that can work in a temperature range from a few degrees above room temperature T.Amb.+3°C up to +99.9°C. In addition to classic Laboratory Thermostats, there are Refrigerated Incubators and Refrigerator-Thermostats that are able to work below room temperature; thus starting from -10.0°C or from 0.0°C .
Volumes and Dimensions
Galli designs and produces a range of Incubators and Thermostats from small volumes of around 5L up to larger volumes of 5,000L. There are therefore Micro and Small Incubators , Benchtop Incubators and Floor Incubators with wheels. To optimize space, multi-chamber incubators are created. They allow the division of work and different operating temperatures in a single structure. Fratelli Galli also offers a line of accessible Macro Incubators or Thermostats, WalkIn Accessible Chambers and Cells that allow the creation of large-volume environments where the operator can access the inside. The GWalkIn models can be equipped with Lights to simulate the circadian cycle with day and night, relative humidity control, and Carbon Dioxide, CO2. Inside the laboratory Macro Thermostats, shelves can be placed for positioning samples, tables for carrying out activities, support surfaces and sinks and everything that can be useful to the scientific researcher.
Natural Air, Forced Ventilation, Water?
Very important for the success of the incubation is the homogeneity of the temperature. It is necessary to avoid that the product under examination, placed inside the thermostat chamber, dehydrates and dries out. Avoid “cross contamination”; or cross contamination between the different culture media placed inside the incubator chamber. – Natural Air Incubator: Galli has developed a natural air heating system that through a series of measures allows the maximum possible uniformity and reduces “hot spots”. These are the most widespread and appreciated incubators for their quality-price ratio. – Forced Air Incubator: For the forced ventilation models Galli proposes perfect control of the air circulation, which must be constant, delicate and never too strong. – Water Incubator: The first products by Galli are the Water Thermostats. These models are incubators in which, around the work chamber, there is a cavity that is filled with water. The water is then heated and, enveloping the entire chamber, it spreads heat delicately and uniformly. In addition to the water cavity, Galli has designed its “Water Jacket” Incubators with adequate thermal insulation; which makes them insensitive to changes in room temperature. Another advantage of these models is the stability of the temperature, which is maintained unchanged for several hours; even in the event of a blackout or lack of voltage.

For the growth of microorganisms, bacteria, molds, cells, viruses and insects it is essential to keep several parameters, sometimes combined, under strict control. Temperature, Relative humidity, CO2, pH, Lighting, Agitation, Shaking, Breathing, … All these parameters can be easily controlled to perfection, in the different models of Galli Laboratory Incubators and Thermostats.
