A CCT Cyclic Salt Spray is able to reproduce, in the same chamber:
– a saline environment (the same as Salt Spray Chambers)
– a dry environment
– a humid environment even with condensation
Furthermore, it is possible to create and reproduce Cyclic Tests with different thermo-climatic environments, thanks to the wide range of accessories. All these situations can be programmed by selecting temperatures, times, sequences, number of cycles, repetitions, all with the same test chamber. Flexible and at a fair price, these chambers are ideal for research and development applications.

What is salt spray? It is a laboratory apparatus that allows the study of corrosion.
Corrosion is a reduction in profit, i.e. a Loss. Corrosion affects everyone, from the manufacturer to the user who sees the value of the purchased good reduced. Although Corrosion is a natural phenomenon that everyone knows, the study of the phenomenon requires a very specific specialization. Only a vast experience can meet the needs of industries that ask to limit the phenomenon. Galli is proud to present a range of equipment at the forefront of technology for corrosion tests. Our specialty is to reproduce and control a corrosive environment inside a cell that is commonly called Corrosion Chamber or Salt Spray, Acetic. Corrosion Chambers are made in different models and with different sizes to meet the various needs of the tests. The samples to be tested are placed inside the Chamber to determine their resistance to corrosion, often in accordance with international regulations and standards.
How are salt sprays classified?
The Galli Salt Mist Rooms are mainly divided by volume and according to their functions.
Standard Salt Spray Chambers , in English Salt Spray Chambers ; with Spray and Temperature control are the most widespread and used. Galli apparatus are designed for continuous salt spray tests, conducted at a single user-adjustable temperature, for example ASTM B117, ISO 9227, JIS Z 2371 etc. These laboratory instruments can be used with neutral pH salt solutions (SNS) or test solutions acidified by the addition of acetic acid (ASS) or cupric acid (CASS).
Premium or Extra Salt Spray Chambers; these are devices that control Spray, Temperature and can perform Dry or Condensation phases, they allow the execution of tests and trials according to international standards ASTM, ISO, DIN, GM, FIAT, MIL, VDA, …
Cyclic Salt Spray Chambers called Cyclic Corrosion Test Chambers , also known as CCT Chambers, or with other commercial acronyms, which allow you to alternate periods of Salt Spray with periods of Humid, Dry, Condensation.
