Galli Flocculators

A complete line for the study of the separation of pollutants in wastewater and transfer studies in the environmental sector.

Flocculation

Flocculators, also known as Jar Testers , are used to test and adjust the amount of chemicals and the sequence in which they will be added to clarify wastewater or surface water and to optimize coagulation and flocculation. Agitation and lighting allow for better monitoring of the phenomenon and analysis of what would happen in a real plant.

Leaching Test

Galli Flocculators or Jar Tests are also used for tests and release tests , called Leaching Tests, which are simulated laboratory tests where the effects that contaminants can have in contact with a product are studied, i.e. the release of contaminants.
For example, contaminated waste or soil can be tested which, when in contact for a defined time with an aqueous solution, kept stirred in a beaker, produces a liquid called eluate.

Flocculation Test Periodicity

How often should I perform a Flocculation Test or Jar Test?
It is not possible to give a precise indication on this, since the more often it is carried out, the better the optimization of the system will be. In addition to carrying it out when necessary, a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal Jar Test could be the right one.

Need for Flocculation Test

Why do I need to do a Flocculation Test or Jar Test?
Because it allows me to respect the environment and save money.
A Jar Test in the laboratory, performed on low volumes, allows me to understand the quantities and products that will be needed in the large-scale plant.
The optimization and efficiency of the wastewater or surface water clarification plant allows the dosing of chemical substances such as coagulants, avoiding overdosing and therefore waste.
